Responsibilities

• Solder electronic components on solar panels and related assemblies.
• Inspect solder joints to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain and calibrate soldering equipment and tools.
• Record and report production data, including defects or issues.
• Follow safety guidelines for a safe working environment.
• Work with the quality assurance team to resolve quality issues.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• Skilled in hand soldering and using soldering machines.
• Can read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with good manual dexterity.
• Basic understanding of electronic components and circuits.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Able to sit or stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Experience in solar manufacturing.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 soldering standards.
• Familiar with lean manufacturing principles.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to work 12-HR shifts.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
