About the position

The Solutions Architect is a technical strategist responsible for designing and optimizing IT and cybersecurity solutions that align with client goals and Next Perimeter's service offerings. This role bridges Professional Services, Managed Services, and Sales to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and operationally efficient, ultimately enhancing client outcomes and organizational value.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to understand client goals, challenges, and technical environments through technical discovery sessions.
• Design solutions leveraging Next Perimeter's offerings, ensuring they are scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with MSAs/SOWs.
• Create reusable solution templates for common scenarios and customize solutions for complex, high-value accounts.
• Act as a technical advisor during the pre-sales process, supporting sales and account teams.
• Develop detailed project scopes, timelines, resource plans, and dependencies for deployment.
• Provide comprehensive solution documentation to Professional Services for seamless execution and remain available as a technical escalation point during deployment.
• Ensure long-term supportability of solutions by aligning designs with Managed Services capabilities.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend tools that enhance Next Perimeter's offerings.
• Serve as a technical liaison with key vendors and provide feedback on product gaps and client satisfaction.
• Develop network diagrams, technical workflows, and solution designs that align with company standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in IT, sales engineering, or solutions design roles.
• Experience designing solutions within Microsoft 365, Entra/Azure AD, Intune, or similar environments.
• Deep understanding of identity and access management, endpoint management, cybersecurity tools (EDR, SASE), and cloud-native solutions.
• Proficiency with solution scoping, technical diagrams, and documentation.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and organizational abilities.
