About the position

The Sourcing Specialist II role is focused on administering policies and programs related to contracted services and materials. This position involves preparing sourcing agreements, engaging with suppliers, analyzing bid responses, conducting negotiations, and communicating sourcing strategies to management. The role also includes evaluating supplier performance and participating in sourcing data analysis to optimize costs and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Administer policies and programs aimed at providing contracted services and materials.
  • Prepare straightforward sourcing agreements, ensuring minor modifications to standard terms and conditions.
  • Engage with the supplier community and industry analysts, fostering productive relationships.
  • Analyze responses to straightforward bid requests, highlighting commercial differences and making concise recommendations to aid in supplier selection.
  • Conduct negotiations successfully and lead or participate in sourcing project teams.
  • Communicate sourcing strategy progress and results to supervision and management.
  • Conduct industry analysis and evaluate supplier performance, providing market data to support supplier selection, qualification, and ongoing performance management.
  • Participate in sourcing data analysis, forecasting, and planning, aiming to reduce the total cost of ownership.
  • Develop new sources of supply, continually monitoring supplier performance.
  • Uphold a high level of integrity in business dealings, adhering to corporate guidelines, legal, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent Planning and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Procedures and Policy
  • Research skills and ability to handle Materials
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word
  • Ability to maintain Quality and Review contracts

  • Experience with Vendor management and Onboarding processes
  • Negotiation skills and ability to drive Progress
