Responsibilities

• Provide oral interpretation and written translation services between Spanish-speaking and English-speaking individuals.
• Interpret conversations and translate or prepare documents from Spanish to English and vice versa.
• Accurately convey the meaning of the source language to the target language and vice versa.
• Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Establish and maintain close working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and superiors.

Requirements

• Ohio State Department of Education Educational Aide License, Substitute License, or Teacher License.
• Must pass BCI/FBI Background check.
• Ability to accurately interpret both oral and written Spanish.
• Ability to accurately interpret and translate Spanish to English and vice versa.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and respect for confidential information.
