This part-time position focuses on assisting students with their daily activities, promoting their academic and social development, and implementing behavior management techniques tailored to each child's requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support students in their daily activities, including academic tasks, social interactions, and personal care.
• Collaborate with supervisor in carrying out behavior plans tailored to the needs of each client.
• Monitor client progress and behavior, and collect data on their development.
• Create a nurturing environment that fosters childhood development and encourages positive social interactions among peers.

Requirements

• Experience or familiarity with childcare practices that promote effective learning environments.
• Understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for working with children on the autism spectrum.
• At least 1 year of experience working with people with autism is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
