Responsibilities

• Participate in professional role development activities including continuing education and quality assessment.
• Apply nephrology nursing standards of practice in patient care.
• Confront ethical challenges in nursing practice.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams to provide quality care to patients.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure effective patient care delivery.

Requirements

• One (1) year of registered nurse experience.
• Minimum 3 months of experience as a Nephrology Nurse with dialysis experience required in California & Tennessee, or 6 months in Texas.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent.
• Current, active, unencumbered state RN licensure.
• Current Healthcare Provider certification (CPR) required.
• Competent knowledge regarding the use of Electronic Health Records.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete projects independently.
