About the position

The Retail Store Manager in Flint, MI is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the retail store, including managing and training associates, executing merchandising initiatives, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Managing and motivating your team to increase sales and maintain inventory levels.
• Analyzing sales, forecasting sales, and interpreting trends in the community to facilitate planning and changes.
• Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry and monitoring local competitor trends.
• Resolving customer service complaints and concerns.
• Organizing special promotions and facilitating community partnerships weekly.
• Handling employee relations including interviewing, hiring, and training.
• Maintaining appropriate staffing levels and managing employee schedules.
• Ensuring store safety compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Regularly being on the sales floor to engage with employees and customers.

Requirements

• 1 year of inventory control experience (preferred).
• 3 years of customer service experience (required).
• 2 years of team leadership experience (required).
