About The Position

The Superintendent will serve as the primary site leader overseeing all subordinate superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers. This role is crucial for establishing project plans, maintaining weekly progress, and managing job site operations to ensure quality and timely delivery of services. The Superintendent will also be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with various stakeholders and enforcing safety and quality control programs.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience working in the construction industry as a superintendent.
• Ground up construction experience preferred.
• Experience in municipal construction preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work in a team setting.
• Knowledge in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Experience with projects over $1M.

Responsibilities

• Establish project plan and maintain weekly progress and pulse of the project.
• Manage and coordinate all job site operations.
• Manage labor and subcontractors to ensure work quality and on-time delivery of services.
• Maintain positive relationships with Owners, Design Consultants, and PM's.
• Coordinate with local jurisdiction inspectors and utility company representatives to ensure compliance.
• Enforce Safety Program and manage the Quality Control Program.
• Prepare and maintain detailed short-term schedules.
• Manage accurate invoice payment process and financial management of project costs.
• Resolve day-to-day field issues.
• Prepare daily reports with all manpower and significant activities.
