About the position

The Supply Chain Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the healthcare delivery system by managing the supply and equipment ordering, receipt, distribution, and inventory maintenance. This position ensures that internal and external customers receive high levels of service, thereby guaranteeing the availability of necessary supplies and equipment for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance of the healthcare delivery system through supply and equipment ordering, receipt, distribution, and inventory maintenance.
• Provide high levels of service to internal and external customers to assure continued availability of supplies and equipment required for patient care.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of supply chain or related experience in a computerized environment is preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to interact well with others and provide high levels of customer service.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to make decisions that directly affect patient care.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with equipment commonly associated with warehouse shipping and receiving, such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and IT equipment like RF devices, computers, printers, and copy machines.
