About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within the first month of employment.
• Surgical Technologist/Technician certification recommended.
• At least one year of experience in a medical office or acute care facility preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Scrub Tech preferred.
• Experience in a surgical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care to patients during surgical procedures.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team including Registered Nurses, Surgeons, and Anesthesia Staff.
• Ensure availability of instrumentation, supplies, and equipment for surgeries.
• Promote positive relationships within the team and with patients.
• Maintain composure and effectiveness under stressful situations.
