Responsibilities
- Provide quality care to patients during surgical procedures.
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team including Registered Nurses, Surgeons, and Anesthesia Staff.
- Ensure availability of instrumentation, supplies, and equipment for surgeries.
- Promote positive relationships within the team and with patients.
- Maintain composure and effectiveness under stressful situations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within the first month of employment.
- Surgical Technologist/Technician certification recommended.
- At least one year of experience in a medical office or acute care facility preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Certified Scrub Tech preferred.
- Experience in a surgical setting preferred.
