About the position

The Technical Services Account Manager at Clean Harbors is responsible for driving new business while maintaining existing accounts. This role involves initiating sales, generating leads, and providing insights to clients about essential business lines. The manager will work collaboratively with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve profitable revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt for new business while maintaining current accounts.
  • Initiate sales in the region with a focus on new accounts.
  • Drive leads and grow accounts through consultative selling techniques.
  • Research prospective organizations to identify key customer stakeholders.
  • Coach customer stakeholders and build consensus for Clean Harbors solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans for Corporate Accounts.
  • Deepen existing business relationships and increase account satisfaction.
  • Propose, negotiate, and close profitable revenue opportunities.
  • Communicate account strategy to marketing and sales teams.
  • Provide leadership and direction to internal teams to ensure goals are met.
  • Evaluate customer needs and ensure appropriate service delivery and pricing.
  • Understand account profitability and develop strategies to maximize profit.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related fields.
  • Track record of developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Experience in B2B markets.
  • Ability to influence and cultivate strong internal relationships.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM applications.
  • Self-starter and autonomous goal achiever.
  • Strategic and conceptual selling expertise.
  • Analytical skills and project planning/management experience.
