About the position

The Technical Services Account Manager at Clean Harbors is responsible for driving new business and maintaining existing accounts. This role involves initiating sales, providing product insights, and collaborating with various departments to enhance customer relationships and satisfaction. The manager will develop strategic sales plans, deepen business relationships, and ensure effective communication of account strategies to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt for new business while maintaining current accounts.
  • Initiate sales in the region with a focus on new accounts.
  • Drive leads and grow underpenetrated accounts.
  • Provide product insight to clientele regarding essential lines of business.
  • Research prospective organizations to identify key customer stakeholders.
  • Coach customer stakeholders and build consensus for Clean Harbors solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans for Corporate Accounts.
  • Deepen existing business relationships and increase account satisfaction.
  • Propose, negotiate, and close profitable revenue opportunities.
  • Communicate account strategy to the marketing team and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and direction to line management and field sales teams.
  • Evaluate customer needs and ensure appropriate service delivery and pricing.
  • Seek out and develop additional Corporate Accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related fields.
  • Track record of developing and executing sales strategy.
  • Experience in B2B markets.
  • Ability to influence and cultivate strong internal relationships.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM application.
  • Self-starter and autonomous goal achiever.
  • Strategic and conceptual selling expertise.
  • Analytical skills and project planning/management experience.
