About the position

The Teller serves as the primary contact for customers at the Bank, responsible for efficiently handling customer transactions and providing excellent service. This role requires knowledge of banking procedures to facilitate cash receipt and payment services, while also promoting the Bank's products and services to enhance customer engagement and asset growth.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service to all Bank customers.
  • Receive and disburse money to and from customers following defined policies and procedures.
  • Accurately conduct all credit and debit transactions, including Visa payments, loan payments, and cash advances.
  • Ensure accurate handling of checks presented via remote capture.
  • Verify cash drawer, balance, and prepare daily work.
  • Learn and execute proper vault and ATM procedures.
  • Report any discrepancies to the Center Manager.
  • Maintain a secure and well-organized Teller area.
  • Maintain proper cash supply.
  • Handle license sticker renewals.
  • Become knowledgeable on all bank products and services to properly direct customers.
  • Provide input to Center Management on ways to promote positive customer interactions.
  • Assist at other branches when needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer and communication skills.
