About the position

The Tire Service Advisor at Dealer Tire is responsible for selling and assisting customers with tire and maintenance care products, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while meeting sales and productivity goals. This role involves inspecting vehicles, diagnosing issues, and maintaining effective relationships with customers and dealership personnel. The advisor will also assist in store operations and maintain a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Sell and assist with the sale of tires and maintenance care products to customers.
• Inspect customers' cars on the service lane.
• Diagnose tire and maintenance care related problems, recommend services, and quote prices.
• Maintain knowledge of tire and maintenance care products.
• Create awareness and communicate key initiatives and program value to ensure commitment.
• Ensure necessary repairs are completed as ordered and priced as quoted.
• Maintain effective customer relationships and address complaints.
• Complete monthly market analysis.
• Assist in store operations, including inventory management and store opening/closing.
• Assist dealership technicians to maintain service levels.
• Clean and maintain the work area.

Requirements

• Two to three years of experience in retail automotive operations or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Office and online order management applications.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and meet Dealer Tire's Motor Vehicle Record Policy.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a dealership environment.
• Knowledge of Toyota/Lexus products.
