About the position
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist position involves providing specialized imaging services in a travel healthcare setting. The role requires expertise in nuclear medicine, including cardiac imaging and PET/CT, and is based in Paramus, New Jersey for a duration of 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures and imaging as per protocols.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment effectively.
- Document and report imaging results accurately.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ years of imaging experience required.
- Active ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification in hand.
- Valid NJ State Nuclear Medicine License required.
- Covid vaccine and booster required (no exceptions).
- Experience in general nuclear medicine, cardiac imaging, and PET/CT.
Nice-to-haves
- CT certification is preferred.
