About the position
The Travel RN Medical Surgical position involves providing high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting. The role focuses on implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating with healthcare teams, and ensuring effective communication regarding patient conditions. This is a temporary, full-time travel nursing contract lasting 3 months, with a commitment to work 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
- 2 years of nursing experience (preferred).
- BLS Certification (preferred).
- Registered Nurse (RN) license (preferred).
- Ability to commute to East Syracuse, NY 13057 (required).
- Ability to relocate to East Syracuse, NY 13057 before starting work (required).
