About The Position

The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures. This role involves providing patient services across all age groups, demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology, and effectively communicating with staff and radiologists.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• Four (4) years of experience required.
• ARDMS registered in at least 3 specialties (does not include RVT).
• BLS certified.

Nice To Haves

• Registered ARDMS and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams.
• Perform routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Communicate effectively with staff and radiologists.
