About the position

The Undergraduate Medical Education Program Administrator 1 is responsible for overseeing the administrative, operational, and financial aspects of the undergraduate medical education (UME) training program. This role involves coordinating educational activities, maintaining compliance with accreditation requirements, and serving as a liaison between various stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the program.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with course leadership to administer courses in respective clinical areas.
  • Coordinate all educational activities related to the program's curriculum, including orientation, student schedules, documentation, case logs, evaluations, simulation, course materials, and examinations.
  • Maintain and coordinate data required to comply with institutional, program, and accreditation requirements.
  • Work closely with medical school affiliates to carry out the curriculum and oversee day-to-day operations within areas of responsibility.
  • Serve as a liaison between affiliate partners, clinics, and the community with clear, respectful, and timely communication.
  • Contribute to the oversight of the program's operational budget as appropriate.
  • Complete timely processing of certifications for payment processing and other related responsibilities.
  • Serve as purchaser for clerkship ordering supplies as needed.
  • Process check requests for payment as needed.
  • Coordinate rotations for visiting medical students within areas of responsibility.
  • Participate in all required meetings of medical school affiliates and Team Huddles.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
  • 1 year of experience in a relevant field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Teams, etc.).
  • Willingness to learn and become proficient in using other software programs.
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently as a self-starter.
