About the position

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team, responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, preventing losses, and responding to incidents effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Utilize CCTV systems for surveillance and reporting any suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
• Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management techniques.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed for incident reporting or investigations.
• Assist in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of surveillance systems, including CCTV operations.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform duties that may require standing for long periods or walking extensive distances.
