About the position

The Asset Protection Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of Walmart's facilities. This position involves monitoring access control, conducting safety audits, and supporting compliance with health and safety regulations. The associate will collaborate with facility management to address health and safety issues, implement process improvements, and promote environmental protection within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support facility security staff and monitor access control equipment.
• Conduct compliance, safety, and food safety audits and reviews.
• Create audit reports and analyze claims related to worker's compensation.
• Assist in the implementation of OSHA guidelines and address employee health and safety issues.
• Gather and interpret data to create reports and suggest automation tasks.
• Support training programs and maintain training delivery best practices.
• Participate in investigations and root cause analysis for incidents.
• Promote environmental issues and implement Walmart's environmental policies.

Requirements

• 6 months experience as a Walmart associate OR 1 year's work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security-related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security-related field.
