About the position

The Vice President, Sales at XO is a pivotal role focused on driving membership sales and revenue growth within the private aviation sector. This position requires a high level of professionalism and resilience, as the VP will be responsible for managing existing accounts while also generating new business opportunities. The role emphasizes building strong client relationships and ensuring a seamless customer experience, all while supporting the company's mission to be a trusted advisor in private jet travel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow current accounts, ensuring strong client relationships.
  • Generate new revenue and memberships through referrals and prospecting.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue and incremental profits.
  • Provide membership and trip options to clients, offering trusted advice.
  • Oversee the overall client experience in collaboration with Account Management.
  • Escalate client service disruptions to Leadership as necessary.
  • Maintain a minimum of $10m TTM revenue and sell two deposits per month.
  • Achieve 90% revenue retention from primary accounts.
  • Understand customer trip needs and articulate suitable options.
  • Ensure operators meet quality assurance standards for customer service.
  • Manage contract negotiations and prepare sales proposals.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Act as a trusted peer, mentor, and coach within the team.
  • Serve as a brand leader and ambassador of the XO Culture.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership regarding pipelines and client retention.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of sales experience, preferably in private aviation.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Outstanding service and customer-oriented behavior.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and regional experience.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and ambitious.
