About the position
The Visual Merchandising Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience at Lululemon by executing visually appealing product presentations and ensuring adherence to brand standards. This position involves collaboration with store leadership to optimize product placement strategies and create an intuitive store navigation experience. The specialist is responsible for executing visual merchandising flips, connecting with guests to assess their needs, and providing training to team members, all while contributing to a respectful and inclusive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with store leadership to implement visual merchandising presentation and enhance guest experience.
- Optimize guest experiences through consistent brand standards in product stories and placement strategies.
- Execute visually appealing product presentations in accordance with company standards.
- Perform visual merchandising flips, including window activations, mannequin styling, and signage updates.
- Connect with guests to assess their needs and provide technical product education.
- Incorporate omnichannel programs into a seamless guest experience.
- Provide feedback and training related to brand standards and visual display techniques.
- Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment.
Requirements
- 1 year of retail or sales work experience.
- Education or experience in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, graphic design, interior design, or related field.
- High school diploma/GED/equivalent, or above; training or degree in design or a related field.
- Experience in retail product merchandising, visual merchandising, or inventory management.
Nice-to-haves
- Food safety and/or liquor service certification for experiential stores with food/beverage service.
- Understanding of color theory and visual display composition.
