About the position
The Warehouse Associate position at Gravure Ink involves crucial responsibilities in inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe work environment. This full-time role operates on a day shift schedule from 3 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Thursday, and requires candidates to be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and willing to learn new skills through cross-training.
Responsibilities
- Utilize forklift and/or other power equipment to unload freight.
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
- Operate forklift or other power equipment to strategically load product onto outgoing trailers.
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
- Perform general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
- Participate in taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
- Verify quantity and check receiver against shipping bills.
Requirements
- Candidates must have a good work history.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout their shift.
- Must be able to work efficiently and safely while meeting quality standards.
- Candidates must have good communication skills.
- Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to stoop, squat, and kneel on a regular basis.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
