About the position

The Warehouse Associate position at Talley LLC involves supporting warehouse operations through various tasks including receiving shipments, managing inventory, and processing orders. The role is essential for maintaining efficient distribution processes and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments and check materials in.
• Receive material into the prelude system and label items.
• Put away materials using a barcode scanner.
• Prioritize cable cut planning and processing.
• Manage reporting of scrap cable.
• Identify and route small parcel, full truckload, less than truckload, and will call orders to appropriate shipping areas.
• Process packages via the small parcel shipping terminal.
• Set pickup appointments and load orders for shipment.
• Obtain signatures and confirm will call orders.
• Load small parcel and truck shipments.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods and bend/reach overhead.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience using a handheld scanner and forklift.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong background in distribution center operations.
• Proficient in picking & packing techniques.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and materials handling.
• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Ability to read and write in English and understand basic math.
