About the position

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the activities related to receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials and supplies in a warehouse environment. This role involves ensuring efficient communication between various departments, managing documentation for shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the warehouse manager and ensuring that all operations meet customer requirements and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor activities related to receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials.
• Provide visibility to managers regarding inbound and outbound schedules to meet operational needs.
• Facilitate communication with drivers and generate necessary documentation for shipments.
• Lead communication with customer service, scheduling, production, and purchasing departments.
• Monitor unloading of materials and execute receipts in the system promptly.
• Assist with discrepancies related to invoices and packing slips.
• Perform random audits on outbound shipments and participate in inventory reconciliation.
• Develop and utilize reports to analyze warehouse data and resolve irregularities.
• Schedule and coordinate outgoing shipments, including routing changes.
• Support the warehouse manager with layout planning and storage area organization.
• Check in daily parts and ensure timely delivery to respective departments.
• Maintain communication with carriers and logistics support to meet service levels.

Requirements

• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Ability to meet warehouse employee metrics (Avg. Score of 97%).
• Bilingual skills are preferable but not required.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.

• Back-Up position in the warehouse is preferred but not required.
