About the position

The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all activities related to the efficient operation of accounts within the Supply Chain Solutions division. This role includes managing P&L responsibilities, ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance with safety regulations, and employee relations. The position requires strong leadership skills to manage both salaried and hourly employees, as well as the ability to analyze financial data and collaborate with senior management and customers to meet operational demands.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the performance of salaried and hourly employees, resolving performance issues and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine needs and expectations, operating the account to meet those demands.
  • Responsible for payroll of employees and analyzing weekly and monthly P&L statements to determine account profitability.
  • Provide financial data and weekly operations reports to senior management.
  • Manage accounts payable, vendor quotes for purchased materials, and customer invoicing.
  • Hold Safety & Security meetings, provide safety training, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • H.S. diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
  • Three (3) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required.
  • Two (2) years or more managing and leading direct reports required.
  • Excellent knowledge of Transportation and/or Warehouse Logistics operations required.
  • Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements required.
  • Strong leadership and motivating skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize, structure and schedule tasks to maximize effort and meet deadlines.
