About the position

The Warehouse Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, conducting patrols, and ensuring compliance with security regulations. This position involves a combination of customer service and security duties, making it essential for the officer to be vigilant and responsive to incidents while providing assistance to clients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Check in drivers, visitors, and vendors.
• Monitor CCTV systems and operate fire systems.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including navigating stairs and uneven terrain.
• Observe and report activities and incidents at the assigned client site.
• Provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Michigan Driver's License.
• Ability to walk and drive patrols, including navigating stairs during patrols.
• Proficient with Vision Phone, Excel, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lead in emergency situations and remain calm under pressure.
• Reliable and a strong team player.
