About the position

Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is seeking bilingual and multilingual individuals to work as freelance interpreters in a 1099 Independent Contractor role. The position involves bridging communication gaps for individuals needing language access, particularly in medical, legal, or educational settings. Interpreters will have the flexibility to set their own schedules and accept appointments based on availability, contributing positively to society through language services.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Spanish with a comprehensive understanding of idiomatic speech and cultural patterns.
• Previous interpreting experience, preferably in medical, legal, or educational settings.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; or certification in interpreting or related fields.
• Must be located in and authorized to work in the US.
