About the position

Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is seeking bilingual and multilingual individuals to work as freelance interpreters in a 1099 Independent Contractor role. The position involves bridging communication gaps for individuals needing language access, particularly in medical, legal, or educational settings. As an independent contractor, interpreters can set their own schedules and accept appointments based on availability, contributing positively to society through language services.

Requirements

• Previous interpreting experience, preferably in medical, legal, or educational settings.
• Demonstrated professionalism, punctuality, and adaptability in the workplace.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work in different settings and adapt to various work environments.
• Must be located in and authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship offered).
• High School Diploma or equivalent; or certification in interpreting or related fields.
