About the position

As a Spanish Language Arts Content Writer at IXL Learning, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality educational content tailored for K-5 Spanish-speaking students. This position is designed for creative and motivated individuals who are passionate about language arts and education. Your primary responsibility will be to create engaging and interactive passages and questions that support native Spanish-speaking students in U.S. classrooms, as well as those learning Spanish in dual-language programs. You will collaborate closely with curriculum designers and editors to ensure that your content is not only informative but also captivating for young learners. In this role, you will be tasked with researching various informational topics that resonate with a Kindergarten to 5th-grade Spanish-speaking audience, typically aged 5 to 11. You will write sentences, paragraphs, and longer passages intended for online educational activities. Additionally, you will craft questions, answers, and explanations that adhere to specific guidelines and samples provided by the IXL team. It is essential to follow the conventions outlined in our in-house Spanish style guide to maintain consistency and quality across all content. Feedback is an integral part of the content development process, and you will be expected to accept and implement feedback, which may be provided in either English or Spanish.
