This freelance position requires collaboration with curriculum designers and editors to develop original short fiction stories that adhere to specific style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Writing original short fiction stories for a Kindergarten-5th Grade Spanish-speaking audience.
• Adhering to conventions from the in-house Spanish style guide.
• Accepting and implementing feedback provided in English or Spanish.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in creative writing, Spanish literature, linguistics, or a related field.
• Previous professional experience writing Spanish-language literary content for children.
• Exceptional writing skills with a strong grasp of Spanish grammar and usage.
• Strong critical-thinking, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to be efficient and organized while managing multiple projects.
• Proficiency in English, including the ability to read instructions and feedback.
