About the position

The Spanish Marketing Copywriter will work closely with the Manager of Direct Connections to create and translate marketing materials that effectively communicate the messages and objectives of the Spanish ministries at Lakewood Church. This role focuses on producing engaging copy across various marketing channels while ensuring alignment with the brand's voice and marketing goals.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to understand the ministry's goals, target audience, and brand voice.
  • Adapt writing style and tone to match the target audience, brand guidelines, and marketing objectives.
  • Coordinate with the projects team to deliver work on time and as requested.
  • Create marketing and descriptive copy for products/resources.
  • Create encouraging messages for use in print, emails, social, and other marketing outlets using Lakewood's voice and Pastor's Danilo and Gloriana.
  • Write compelling and persuasive copy for various marketing materials, including website content, social media posts, email campaigns, brochures, and advertisements.
  • Translate copy (English to Spanish) for various marketing materials as needed by project or ministry.
  • Create efficient, effective marketing and descriptive copy for ministry events, special speakers, and weekly messages.
  • Proofread and edit copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand and style guide guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in copywriting and marketing communication.

Requirements

  • Uncompromised commitment to Lakewood Church's vision, mission, values, and core beliefs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in speaking and writing in both Spanish and English.
  • Strong understanding of Spanish grammar, style, and cultural nuances.
  • Proven track record of producing engaging and persuasive copy for various media, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and print materials.
  • Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrable writing skills with a strong portfolio for various print and electronic mediums.
  • Knowledge of writing standards and best practices.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal skills, and friendly disposition.
  • Able to give and receive constructive critique.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
