About the position
We are seeking a dedicated Spanish Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year to work with high school students in grades 9-12. This full-time position requires a commitment of approximately 35 hours per week and involves implementing the Response to Instruction (RtI) process to support diverse learners. The ideal candidate will have a valid Wisconsin Spanish license or be willing to obtain one, along with a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Teach Spanish to high school students in grades 9-12.
- Implement the Response to Instruction (RtI) process to support diverse learners.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to various learning styles.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the learning environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ years teaching experience required.
- Valid WI Spanish (1365) license or willing to obtain.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
- Experience working with diverse learners and cultures.
