About the position
The Central Bucks School District (CBSD) is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Spanish Teacher - Long Term Per Diem Substitute at Unami Middle School. This position is available from September 3, 2024, until October 2024, with the exact end date to be determined. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Spanish instruction to middle school students, demonstrating professionalism and a strong knowledge base in both content and pedagogy. The candidate should be well-versed in Pennsylvania's Academic Standards and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) standards, ensuring that the curriculum aligns with these educational frameworks. The role requires the teacher to prepare, direct, and guide Spanish instruction effectively at the secondary level. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and hold a valid Pennsylvania Spanish PK-12 certificate. This position offers a daily compensation of $190.00, and candidates are encouraged to apply through the CBSD Employment Portal by September 13, 2024. It is important to note that all employment is provisional for 90 days as mandated by ACT 168 of 2014, and new hires must complete the ACT 168 Inquiry Form as part of the onboarding process.
