About the position

Atlas Immersion Academy is seeking a qualified Spanish Teacher/Float to support early childhood education in a multicultural and multilingual environment. The role involves assisting lead teachers in delivering developmentally appropriate activities that promote children's physical, social, and emotional growth while enhancing their language skills. The ideal candidate will be patient, compassionate, and dedicated to fostering a safe and nurturing classroom atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teachers with age-appropriate lessons and learning activities.
• Foster a classroom environment of safety and respect.
• Perform daily cleaning routines to keep facilities sanitary and safe.
• Manage the routine and environment of the classroom to ensure a safe and nurturing space for all.
• Support the needs of the classrooms by giving teachers lunch breaks and setting up lunch/snacks for children.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience working in a preschool/kindergarten setting.
• Reliable, professional, and hardworking.
• Bring a positive attitude and a love of children.
• Enrolled in the Central Background Registry.
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Bilingual or full fluency in Spanish/French/Mandarin language (or open to learn a new language).
• Legally able to work in the U.S.
