About the position

The Spanish Teacher at Stride, Inc. is a state-certified educator responsible for delivering Spanish language instruction in an online environment. This role involves providing personalized learning experiences, monitoring student progress, and maintaining communication with students and their families. The position requires a commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion and diversity while supporting students' individual learning needs. The teacher will work primarily from home but will need to travel occasionally for school functions such as state testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
• Differentiate instruction based on student level of mastery.
• Maintain a grade book ensuring student academic integrity and make placement decisions.
• Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests.
• Establish and maintain positive rapport with families and communicate regularly with students and learning coaches.
• Support learning coaches/parents with curricular and instructional issues in a virtual classroom environment.
• Travel as required for professional development and student testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Active state teaching license
• Ability to clear required background check
