About the position

We are searching for a Spanish Teacher for our Private School, Grades 6-12. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish, both speaking and writing, and will be responsible for teaching in a classroom setting. Our private school is small, with only 3-5 students per class, allowing for a personalized and engaging learning experience. We offer a very pleasant environment for learning and teaching, and we need someone who is committed to teaching full-time. The Spanish Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans that meet curriculum standards, utilizing various teaching methods to engage students, and providing individualized instruction to accommodate different learning styles. The teacher will also create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, assess student progress, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Collaboration with colleagues to enhance the Spanish language program is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Spanish or related field
• Teaching certification or licensure
• Proven experience teaching Spanish language to students of varying proficiency levels
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills
• Familiarity with learning technology and its integration into lessons
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques
• Fluent in Spanish speaking and writing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organized, flexible disposition
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Experience teaching in a classroom setting
• Valid Driver's License
• FBI Fingerprint Background Check
• Child Abuse History Clearance
