About the position

Athletes Global Corporation is seeking passionate and dedicated Spanish Teachers to join our esteemed classroom instruction team. Our bilingual program focuses on English to Spanish instruction, providing a unique opportunity for educators to engage with students in a non-institutional setting. The program runs from August 15th to June 17th, and teachers will be assigned to various schools within the Cajon Valley School District. In this role, instructors will be responsible for delivering high-quality Spanish instruction, fostering a love for language learning, and creating an engaging classroom environment. Teachers will be expected to incorporate games and interactive activities into their lesson plans to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Collaboration with fellow educators and support staff is essential to ensure a cohesive educational experience for all students. Additionally, instructors will have the opportunity to participate in ongoing training and professional development, allowing them to refine their teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in language instruction. Candidates must complete a livescan background check as part of the hiring process. This position is part-time, with flexible scheduling options available, including after-school and evening shifts. We are looking for individuals who are not only skilled in teaching but also possess a genuine passion for inspiring students to learn and grow in their language abilities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• A passion for teaching and inspiring students to learn and grow.
• An interest in foreign languages, literacy, and education.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Knowledge of the English/Spanish language with the ability to translate written instructions into spoken English/Spanish sentences.
• Reliable transportation (preferred).
• At least 1 year of teaching experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Spanish.
