About the position

At Planting Seeds Academic Solutions, we are dedicated to providing quality education to students from Pre-K to High School. We are currently seeking in-person Spanish tutors to assist students in achieving conversational proficiency in the language. This role is part-time, temporary, and contract-based, with a pay range of $25 to $30 per hour. The ideal candidate will be available to work during the specified hours, which include weekday evenings and weekends as needed. Tutors will be responsible for creating a friendly and productive learning environment, assisting students in targeted subject areas, and hosting workshops on selected topics. The position requires commuting to students' homes or meeting at public locations for tutoring sessions. Candidates must have a personal vehicle to facilitate travel to various locations. Responsibilities

• Assist students in targeted subject areas via individual or group tutoring.
• Host workshops on selected topics.
• Model and encourage collaborative study strategies.
• Create and manage resources for effective learning.
• Contribute to a friendly and productive learning environment.
• Commute to students' place of residence or meet at a public location to conduct tutoring sessions.
• Meet regularly with the supervisor to discuss student progress.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Teaching Certification license.
• Experience in tutoring, preferably 1 year.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Must be able to perform in-person tutoring.
