The Spanish Tutor position at Codinix Technologies Inc. is a contract role based in Tallahassee, FL, offering a pay rate of up to $27.49 per hour. The ideal candidate must be fluent in both English and Spanish and possess a high school diploma or GED. This role requires 1-3 years of experience in providing Spanish tutoring services, with a focus on developing tailored lesson plans that meet the specific needs of students. The tutor will be responsible for creating lesson plans that are up to 1.5 hours long for each .5-hour lesson, which must be fully approved by the contract manager 48 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. The contract manager will provide feedback within 24 hours of receiving the lesson plans, which must be documented and submitted for review one week before the lesson.
Responsibilities
- Develop lesson plans tailored to meet the student's needs, up to 1.5 hours per .5-hour lesson.
- Submit lesson plans for approval 48 hours prior to the scheduled lesson.
- Document and submit lesson plans to the contract manager for review one week prior to the lesson.
- Deliver .5-hour lessons three days a week as scheduled by the Department.
- Communicate with the contract manager regarding the proposed schedule one week in advance of lesson delivery.
- Respond to the proposed schedule within 24 hours, either accepting or proposing an alternative schedule.
- Complete a weekly timesheet detailing all hours worked in .5-hour increments and submit it with the weekly invoice.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of experience providing Spanish tutoring services.
- Teaching certification preferred.

- Experience in tutoring English is preferred.
- Ability to commute to Tallahassee, FL 32399 is preferred.
- Willingness to relocate to Tallahassee, FL 32399 before starting work is preferred.
