About the position

Aspen Learning Lab is seeking a qualified Spanish tutor to provide one-on-one tutoring for a high school student. The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator who can inspire students through engaging, hands-on learning experiences while addressing their social, emotional, and academic needs. This part-time position focuses on reinforcing the Spanish curriculum and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce the student's learning content and supplement with hands-on, project-based learning activities
• Employ a variety of educational techniques
• Observe each student to help them build their social and emotional competencies and help build self-esteem and confidence
• Track student progress
• Collaborate with other educators/team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a classroom teacher or tutor
• Spanish Teaching Certification preferred but not required
