About the position

The Spares Product Planner at KLA is responsible for overseeing the spare parts planning during the product life cycle for assigned product lines. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure optimal inventory levels, support customer needs, and drive improvements in supply chain operations. The planner will analyze data to make informed decisions and optimize spares stocking strategies while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee spares plan for assigned product lines to ensure the right spare inventory is positioned at the right place and time.
  • Work closely with new product introduction leaders and supply chain teams to ensure effective spares inventory strategies.
  • Utilize spare demand planning methodologies and statistical forecasting to drive efficient spares support strategies.
  • Monitor and report metrics and KPIs such as fill rate performance and planned vs actual inventory.
  • Maintain strong communication with the Product Support Organization to implement the best support plan for global customers.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional projects impacting fill rate performance.
  • Partner with supply planning and procurement teams to craft supply chain solution recommendations and strategic plans.
  • Support projects with advanced analytics teams to develop data sets and reports for effective decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years or Master's Level Degree with 0 years of related work experience.
  • Experience with advanced supply chain operations, including supply and demand management effectiveness.
  • Strong data and analytical skills with a track record of creating processes to improve business performance.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with statistical analysis.
  • Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and implement innovative solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background in statistics and probability.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with SAP ERP system.
