Apple's Industrial Design team is seeking a Spatial and Fixture Designer with a strong background in both architecture and industrial design. This role is pivotal in two main areas: Fixtures and Spatial design. The Fixtures aspect focuses on how Apple products are displayed in all Apple stores and with third-party partners, ensuring that the presentation of products is visually appealing and effective. The Spatial design component involves overseeing the design of new construction and modifications of design studios, which are essential creative spaces for the team. The Industrial Design team is responsible for the design of all Apple products and plays a significant role in manufacturing, packaging, and retail representation. The Retail Designer will collaborate closely with design leads to create presentations and fixtures for product displays on store tables, window displays, and at launch events. This position is critical for ensuring that Apple products are showcased in the best possible manner in stores and during events. In terms of architecture, this role manages the design of studio locations, which often feature unique finishes and bespoke elements that facilitate the team's creative processes. The Spatial and Fixture Designer will work closely with Apple's Real Estate and Development team to drive complex construction projects, space redesigns, and the design of custom furniture, all while maintaining aesthetic continuity across projects.
