About the position

The Strategic Partnerships Sales Engineer at Allstate Identity Protection plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing product expertise and crafting competitive pitches. This position involves direct interaction with clients, ensuring smooth onboarding, and collaborating with internal teams to address client needs. The ideal candidate is a skilled product professional who excels in client-facing roles and demonstrates strong communication and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the strategic point of contact during the sales process for compelling product positioning.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for onboarding new clients, ensuring smooth execution of operational and technological components for client launch.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal partners to research and create solutions for potential client needs or issues.
  • Utilize pipeline management software to manage accounts and drive effective marketing efforts.
  • Develop solid partnerships with key stakeholders at client accounts.
  • Attend onsite and offsite client meetings and conferences with current or prospective clients.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma mandatory; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, product owner, or sales enablement functions.
  • Prior experience in B2B2C distribution.
  • Experience with web-based applications.
  • Excellent written, spoken, listening, and critical analysis skills.
  • Strong presentation skills via web, phone, and in person.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of behavioral and personality styles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Pre-sales or product support experience across multiple channel types.
  • Experience supporting strategic sales in B2B and/or B2B2C sales, with exposure to indirect channel development.
  • Vertical market experience in Financial Services, Healthcare, Eldercare, or Affinity Solutions.
