About the position

The Strategic Partnerships Sales Engineer at Allstate Identity Protection plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing product expertise and ensuring effective client onboarding. This remote position requires a blend of product management skills and client-facing capabilities, aimed at enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to address client needs and drive sales initiatives, while also managing travel for client meetings and conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the strategic point of contact during the sales process for compelling product positioning.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for onboarding new clients, ensuring smooth execution of operational and technological components for client launch.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners to research and create solutions for potential client needs or issues.
  • Utilize pipeline management software to manage accounts and drive effective marketing efforts.
  • Develop solid partnerships with key stakeholders at client accounts.
  • Attend onsite and offsite client meetings and conferences, requiring travel throughout the year.
  • Follow up with clients, manage conflicting priorities, and execute plans with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma mandatory; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, product owner, or sales enablement functions.
  • Prior experience in B2B2C distribution.
  • Experience with web-based applications.
  • Excellent written, spoken, listening, and critical analysis skills.
  • Strong presentation skills via web, phone, and in person.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a variety of behavioral and personality styles.
  • Ability to tackle new assignments and advocate on behalf of clients and Allstate Identity Protection.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Nice-to-haves

  • Pre-sales or product support experience across multiple channel types.
  • Experience supporting strategic sales in B2B and/or B2B2C sales, with exposure to indirect channel development.
  • Vertical market experience in Financial Services, Healthcare, Eldercare, or Affinity Solutions.
