About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for recruiting clinical and non-clinical professional positions within the organization. This role involves implementing and coordinating system-wide sourcing strategies, recruitment, and retention activities, as well as managing advertising efforts. The specialist will build relationships and collaborate with various business units to effectively meet the current Talent Acquisition needs of the organization. In this position, the specialist will source qualified candidates to fulfill customer requirements by employing extensive searching, networking, and screening techniques. Utilizing online recruiting resources and the in-house applicant tracking system, the specialist will identify and recruit qualified candidates, pre-screen applicants, conduct interviews, and manage the full cycle recruiting process. Additionally, the specialist will maintain a resume database and manage candidates for assigned areas. The role also includes conducting follow-up calls with hiring managers and new hires to address hiring quality improvement initiatives. The specialist will develop, cultivate, and manage relationships with business partners and hiring managers to provide service excellence and staffing expertise. Planning, coordinating, and participating in system-wide recruiting events and initiatives is also a key responsibility, along with acting as a key liaison to vendors and potential candidates for assigned recruitment areas. Furthermore, the specialist will coordinate with advertising agencies to manage advertising and position posting needs. Developing workforce strategies, which include internal and external research and data analysis to identify drivers around recruitment and retention strategies, is essential. Monitoring vacancy and turnover rates for service lines and collaborating with hiring managers and site HR to develop strategies to address retention issues is also part of the role. The specialist will incorporate metrics to define success or failure and share these insights with key stakeholders, ensuring that the hospital delivers a consistent corporate brand as designed by the Talent Acquisition Strategy. This position operates under general guidance, with varied work assignments that require interpretation and independent decision-making on the course of action. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
