Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial checks for prescribed doses based on patient weight.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Nationally certified (PTCB or EXCPT) and registered with the WV Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician upon hire, or two years of pharmacy technician or healthcare experience with certification and registration within 15 months of hire.
  • Must complete job-specific competencies or obtain specialty certification within 90 days of hire.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associates degree or post high school education in a science field of study.
  • Graduate of a pharmacy technician training program.
