About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is responsible for managing the full life-cycle of recruitment activities, ensuring effective and efficient hiring processes. This role acts as an ambassador for Goodwill's employment brand and is essential in connecting job seekers with resources to find and maintain long-term employment. The position requires a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Gathers job posting requests from hiring managers and verifies appropriate approvals.
• Posts job openings internally and externally, including with Affirmative Action agency partners.
• Reviews applications and conducts phone screens for qualified candidates.
• Coordinates interviews and provides interview packets for preparation.
• Manages relationships through advisement, coaching, influencing, and training related to staffing.
• Builds and manages the talent pool through job fairs, campus visits, and community recruitment events.
• Administers and tracks pre-employment checks and assessments.
• Participates in Talent Development planning and execution of development programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred; commensurate experience considered.
• Minimum of three (3) years related recruitment and/or talent development experience preferred.
• Proven track record of recruiting in a fast-growing organization.
• Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System preferred.
• Ability to work well independently and collaboratively with others.
