The Special Agent position at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) involves conducting investigations related to national security, cybercrime, counterintelligence, and counterterrorism. Responsibilities

  • Conduct surveillance and identify leads.
  • Interview suspects and advise on national security matters.
  • Participate in arrests, execute search warrants, and conduct raids.
  • Complete rigorous training at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA.
  • Be available for temporary duty assignments anywhere in the world.
  • Work a minimum of a 50-hour workweek, including holidays and weekends.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be at least 23 years old and not have reached 37 years old at the time of appointment.
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
  • Must have two years of full-time professional work experience.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with at least six months of driving experience.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree or higher from a U.S.-accredited college or university.
