About The Position

The Special Assets Case Manager at U.S. Bank is responsible for providing a variety of administrative, operational, and staff support services for assigned groups or managers. This role involves report writing, data entry, record keeping, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards. The position may also include reviewing loan modifications and overseeing vendor management within the loan workout department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five or more years of experience in administrative support activities.
  • Good verbal, grammatical, and written communication skills.
  • Well-developed reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and interpret data.
  • Proficient PC skills, especially in Microsoft Office applications and graphics.
  • Demonstrated administrative skills and acute attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with loan workout processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative, operational, and staff support services for assigned groups or managers.
  • Engage in report writing, tracking, and compiling data.
  • Perform data entry, record keeping, and data maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Review and evaluate work quality and productivity standards for assigned product lines.
  • Review and finalize loan modifications and documentation to promote quality execution of the loan workout process.
  • Oversee the decentralized vendor management unit within the loan workout department.
  • Utilize PC-based software packages for word processing, graphics, spreadsheets, etc.
